It is our pleasure to announce that our team is growing. Recently we welcomed Amy Bonelli to the US Autex Acoustics team as our new Southern California sales representative. Having worked across the ceramic tile and glass mosaics industry she brings a range of experience collaborating with a wide variety of clients.

 

Having attended Fullerton College as an accounting major, Amy’s career path has now brought her into the acoustics industry. Her natural interest to learn and grow pushes her on to excel and develop in every role that she has had.

What motivates you?

 

I love opportunities that are challenging and that allow me to learn and grow. It is important to me to be able to make a difference in the lives of others.

 

 

What goals do you have for the next six months?

 

  • Read more, at least 30 minutes/day
  • Grow the LA market and establish a strong West Coast presence

 

 

What do you enjoy about working in the acoustics industry?

 

Acoustics are really fascinating to me!  Every project has different needs whether that be design intent, budget, or the end users need. It’s working with these factors that allow me to provide tailored fit solutions and I love that.

 

 

Where did you grow up?

 

I grew up in Chino Hills, CA. We moved to the city when it was a farm town and rural. It transformed during my childhood to a beautiful suburb – 1 hour east of Downtown LA.

What hobbies do you have?

 

I love spending time with my two dogs, Izzy & Groot and my 18-year-old cat, London. On top of this I love watching sports, especially water polo and swimming.

 

 

What makes Los Angeles a truly unique place to be?

 

Los Angeles is unique because of the various cultures that we represent, it’s a melting pot for culture and diversity. There is something here for everybody whether that be music, fashion, food or the arts.

 

 

What are the five must-see parts of Los Angeles?

 

  • Petersen Automotive Museum
  • Santa Monica Bay- Malibu Beach to Palos Verdes
  • La Brea Tar Pits
  • The Getty Center
  • The Huntington Library
